Sharpe wants to see Branthwaite at Utd

Lee Sharpe has been impressed by Jarrad Branthwaite at Everton and thinks his former club will be interested in signing him because of his fitness record.

Sharpe speaking via theonline casino, said: "From what I’ve seen of him, he looks very capable and looks quick, aggressive and strong.

"He’s obviously stayed fit last season and seems pretty resilient and in an ideal world, they’re picking someone that doesn’t get injured too much so you can play a regular partnership at the back which always helps.

"They’ve had far too many injuries, Varane had so many injuries, Evans has done an amazing job but I’m sure only came in to play a handful of games and ends up having to cover most off the season, Martinez has been out most of the season and he’s been the one they’ve missed and does lead by example and shows people where to go and what to do as a leader, and then Maguire who I still think is a decent player but I’m not sure will stick around as third choice if they do bring someone in."

    Sharpe welcomes Eze links

Man Utd legend Lee Sharpe has backed the club's pursuit of Eberechi Eze.

Sharpe speaking via theonline casino, said: "I certainly think he is the kind of player that United could do with. As much as he is a creative ballplayer and creates chances, he also does his fair share of working back and doesn’t give the ball away very cheaply, so I think he suits what every club is looking for, let alone Man United.

"But he’s certainly exciting, he can score goals, and he’s exactly what they need.

"I know Antony has been a bit of a disappointment from a perspective of seeming to lack loads of confidence, just turns back on his left foot and passes it backwards or sideways, not really going at people like you would have expected. Someone like Eze would change that."
